Heroes of the Absurd – Eugène Ionesco

“Absurd is that which is devoid of purpose…cut off from his religious, metaphysical and transendental roots, man is lost; all his actions become senseless, absurd, useless…” – Eugène Ionesco

I’ll choose to disagree with Eugene on this one. I would say all your actions may be senseless and absurd but not useless, we still have to deal with the world we are presented with, what you do becomes essential otherwise the absurd may come crashing down and envelope you. We must strive to make the best of the things we do know and the things we can achieve. There is always hope, just because we can’t be sure of much doesnt mean we can’t have hope.
